HII Receives Google Grant

Haiti Innovation is proud to announce the recent receipt of a Google AdWords Grant, which now enables us to reach a far greater audience in the development community. In addition to being already syndicated on numerous public blog feeds (the blogosphere), an AdWords campaign will now place an HII link in the right margin of Google’s website when key words are used in a search. (Try google-ing “Haiti” or “MINUSTAH”).

One of the largest problems I fear our site faces, or any website for that matter, is the round about way investors or Haiti enthusiasts must come to find us. As a new organization, this can be crippling. And that is the absolute beauty of the grant. At no cost to HII, we now have prominent advertising on the world’s most frequented search engine.

This is a tremendous boon to our projects and project partners; every extra click to our site translates to another potential visit to theirs. On behalf of HII, my many thanks go to Google for their support and to our web team.
